I am super excited to share the news that I am on the lineup of this year's Fengaros festival with my band Nostalgia For The Future. With an exciting line up of artists, the festival is taking place in the rejuvenating village of Kato Drys in the Larnaca district of Cyprus.
This tenth edition of the Festival will welcome world-renowned trailblazers and offer more than 45 hours of music from live bands and DJ sets from across the globe, and a return to the ultra-unique village of Kato Drys on 28 - 30 July.
Organised by Louvana Records, Fengaros Festival is a summertime open-air music festival in Cyprus that celebrates new music from the Mediterranean and beyond, bringing international pop, rock, folk and electronic musicians to one of Cyprus’ most unique villages. For three days, Kato Drys village transforms into a whole other experience, with festival-goers of all ages wandering through the winding village roads, discovering new music, new people and new experiences.
Music Village
This edition’s workshops will be taught by industry professionals with expertise in a range of fields including drumming, orchestration and arrangement, jazz, and folk music traditions.
Attendees will be able to participate in their workshop of choice, which will take place daily during the morning and afternoon hours, revitalising the quaint Cypriot village with music and creativity. Each evening free concerts will be available to the public, followed by open jam sessions at the village’s traditional cafe. Fengaros Music Village’s goal is to hone a long-lasting and resourceful community of artists to cultivate diverse creative and disseminative opportunities amongst one another.
